Private Pay

Receipts For Reimbursement Are Available For Private Pay Clients

A receipt for reimbursement can be provided, if needed. Please contact your insurance provider prior to the first appointment to inquire about your out of network mental health benefits.

Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Can Be Used

You may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for therapy sessions. Check with your plan administrator to confirm your specific benefits.

Good Faith Estimate

You are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” stating what charges you will be expected to pay for mental health and medical care.

Under law, health care providers are required to provide clients who have chosen not to use insurance or who do not have insurance an estimate of the total expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

If the actual amount charged is $400 or more beyond the estimated charges, stated in your Good Faith Estimate, you have a right to dispute the bill. It is important to keep a copy or take pictures of your Good Faith Estimate.

For more information or questions regarding the Good Faith Estimate, go to https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
